Can A Fiberglass Pool Be Completely Installed in One Day Video?

We figured we'd have some fun and attempt something we've never done, or even seen done before in the pool industry (although I'm sure it has)...and that's to do an entire fiberglass pool installation including concrete patio all in a single day!

You're probably asking, why would you do something like that Jason?

Three reasons:

1.  To promote fiberglass pools

2.  To promote fiberglass pools, and yes finally

3.  To promote fiberglass pools

You see, fiberglass pool installations are quick and easy, and even though the typical project takes more like 2 or 3 weeks as opposed to a day, when compared to concrete pools that take 3 to 6 months, there's a major difference in the amount of stress a project causes a family.

Not to mention the other great benefits of fiberglass such as ridiculously low maintenance, low lifetime cost, and low chemical use....it's hard to go wrong!

So check out this video.   It outlines the entire fiberglass pool installation process, and plus it's just a lot of fun.  That's what pools are supposed to be right.....fun?

Awesome video and great job. Things like this can take place only with a staff that is capable and with precise planning, which is definetly the case with River Pools and Spas. Nice way of showing how easy a fiberglass pool project can go for the consumer now days.

Wow Jason what a great video. And we do have a great group of guys who work for us. I am proud of everyone of our employees and we have the best employees of any company anywhere in the Country. I can testify to that. We rock at River Pools, :) sorry caught up in the moment didn't mean to toot our own horn. Okay yeah I did.

Fantastic video Jason and congratulations to you and the River Pools team. This really shows potential fiberglass pool owners just how stress free it can be.

Great video guys. You kept it moving and solid job on editing, graphics.
This will make a great marketing piece. One question, you talk about bonding..is that concrete to the pool? or what does that designate.

@Josh
Thanks my brother. We don't hold a candle to you Alabama boys though!

@Jim
Yeah bud, I know you're upset you didn't get more camera time. You'll just have to do your own stinking video, Lol!

@Ashley
Thanks Ash. It definitely helps when we have pools that are always dead level on the first set. Just can't beat the quality of Leisure Pools!

@Joe,
Great question! Bonding is what's done to insure everything around and in the pool has the same voltage potential. So the idea is to connect all that stuff together through via a copper wire that eliminates any possibility of being shocked by the concrete patio, handrail, etc. I've written extensively about it here: http://www.riverpoolsandspas.com/blog/bid/34682/Pool-Bonding-101-Why-Handrails-Coping-and-Water-Could-Shock-You.

I wish I would have seen this prior to installing our 24' above ground pool...I may have done fiberglass instead. Great video.
