Frank was not looking to get into the pool business. He was looking for a pool for his own backyard. What he found instead was a gap. No local installer offered the quality, the warranty, or the organized process he expected on a project that size. After one phone call with Aaron "Big Delicious" Daley at River Pools, Frank realized the option he wanted did not exist in his market yet, and that he was qualified to build it.
Charlotte first
He called two longtime friends, Christopher Liner and Bennett James, and River Pools of the Carolinas opened for business in Charlotte, NC. All three had spent their careers around construction, so they knew what a well run job site looks like and how rare that is for homeowners to actually experience.
The Upstate area came next
With Charlotte established, expanding made sense. The Upstate has the climate, the growth, and the outdoor living culture that fiberglass pools are built for. Rather than start from scratch with a new playbook, the team brought the same crews standards, the same installation process, and the same warranty across the state line. Today, River Pools of the Carolinas serves homeowners from the Charlotte metro through Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Simpsonville, and the surrounding counties.
The team behind your project
Frank and Bennett are Citadel graduates. Christopher is a UNC Chapel Hill football alum with an MBA and graduate work at Harvard, and a licensed general contractor with deep expertise in concrete and residential development. Together they bring more than 30 years of combined experience across construction, concrete, supply chain, and business operations.
