Pool DVD makes quite a Splash!

One of the biggest problems in the pool and spa industry today is the lack of consumer product knowledge due to a dearth in the educational focus of pool/spa professionals. Often times, when a consumer is considering the purchase of one of these products, they will run into quite a bit of difficulty making decisions on issues such as: What company should we use? Who makes the best pool?(or spa) What type of maintenance will be involved? How long will the installation take and what can we expect during this process? Are there going to be any hidden expenses that pop up? What will happen when we have service needs in the future once the company has finished their work? These questions and many others are all too commonplace in the pool and spa industry, especially when dealing with inground pools. Understanding this dilemma, as well as the ugly stigma it has created, Rive Pools and Spas has produced a professional DVD for our customers. This DVD has five distinctive segments: 1. The total video time is over two hours and the reviews we've received thus far from new and old customers alike have been nothing short of phenomenal.

In the "Maintenance" section of the video, viewers are able to receive an entire walk-through on how to maintain their pool. This section is particularly helpful for those persons who may have forgotten some of the information they received during their initial pool installation/orientation. During the "Installation" segment of the video, viewers are able to actually see a fiberglass pool installed from start to finish. This allows potential customers to visualize and conceptualize what events will take place, and how everything will come together, as they have River Pools and Spas in their back yard. You can probably see why consumer confidence goes up upon watching such a production. The success of the DVD has been so great we have actually been asked to install pools in New Jersey, West Virginia, Texas, and North Carolina. (unfortunately, we're unable to go out that far). This trend is understandable though when one looks at the poor emphasis put on customer education by pool and spa professionals across the country.
