Welcome to the Wave!

For some time now, it has been my desire to produce something that would be an educational tool for our customers as well as an opportunity for River Pools and Spas to continue to communicate with the many clients we have been able to establish positive relationships with during our time in business. My solution to this desire is The Wave, which will be our company newsletter from now until I'm too old to do this, and considering I'm only 28 years old as of today, I've hopefully got quite a few years left to teach, inform, and maybe even entertain a little bit all of those whom will peruse these articles. There will be parts of this paper that are rather formal, and then there will be other aspects that should give everyone a little snicker here and there. But I must say, I'm genuinely exited about this. We find ourselves in an industry where people, for as long as they own one of our products, will come to us for help and advice. Understanding this need, Jim Spiess, Jason Hughes , and I, as owners of River Pools and Spas, want our customers to feel we truly care about them and how much they enjoy our products. We do not want to give average customer service at River Pools and Spas. We want to be exceptional. Just servicing/fixing the items we sell is really not enough. I have found during my five years in this business, when people are educated regarding the products they own, be it a pool, spa, etc, they enjoy them much more. They also tend to have fewer service issues or problems. In my mind, I hope this little tri-annual newsletter accomplishes just that. With this being the goal, I would ask that all of those people who have questions they would like to be answered regarding our products, to please just call, write, or email to tell us what's on your mind. As I get a feel for these questions, I'll do my best to answer them with articles and responses in The Wave. Also, as customers read these articles and have comments or related/helpful experiences, please don't hesitate to write down your thoughts and send them in to us. I would love to have as much participation as possible here from others and include your thoughts and letters in this newsletter. After all, it is our clients make this medium possible.
